A Healthy Snack: Tomato, Ricotta, Avocado, and Balsamic Glaze

In our household, I am always trying to find a creative way to get us to eat more veggies.  Moreover, because we do not buy a lot of pre-packaged items, snacks are sometimes hard to come by.

That’s where this post comes in. In the summertime you usually have a plethora of tomatoes. Avocado is in season currently and right now I’m in love with the ricotta cheese from Fierro & Sons. So with all that you can assemble yourself a quick (and might I say, stylish) snack.

Recipe

1 Tomato

1 Avocado

1/2 Cup of Fierro & Sons Ricotta Cheese

Trader Joe’s Balsamic Glaze

Cut the tomato into slices, top with the ricotta, and then the avocado. You can choose to add the glaze if you want.

Enjoy!
