The History of Food in Iran

January 14, 2015 by theunmanlychef

History

As a historian trained in the craft of research and combing databases for scholarly articles (2nd Degree is in History B.A. UMBC 4.0GPA JUST SAYIN), I think I possess the necessary skill-set to take you on a adventure. A food history adventure. Kind of like Indiana Jones, but completely scared of my own shadow and I have no plans of chasing down the Holy Grail.

This food history adventure will begin with Persian Food. Over the past few months I have researched the history and background of Persian Food. In the first part of my series I will be discussing the history of Persian Food. You will have to stay tuned for what’s next in this three part series.
