Donut Shack – Severna Park

October 23, 2017 by theunmanlychef

Out over in Severna Park is a little donut place that feels like you’re walking into a time machine as soon as you step into the door.

Donuts are clearly all the rage now, everyone with a goofy mustache is making gourmet donuts. If you don’t have access to some gourmet donut shop, your options are usually limited to either Dunkin Donuts or the grocery store. I’m not here to throw shade at either one because it’s pretty hard to screw up a donut. But I will say that nothing beats walking into a classic donut shop and ordering some fresh donuts.

Donut Shack on Route 2 in Severna Park is the quintessential classic donut shop that you remember from your childhood. From the pictures of families on the wall to the old furniture you literally feel like you could be in the 1970s when you walk into Donut Shack. Once you get past all the nostalgia you’re feeling and you actually get down to serious donut business, you’re in for a real treat. First things first, Donut Shack is open 24 hours a day, which is great because if you’re jonesing for a donut at 4AM or 12AM or 10PM like I was you can always get a high quality donut. The pricing here is reasonable and you have a wide assortment of flavors at your fingertips.

Basically you can’t go wrong when you come here and a lot of people are probably going to be a little salty now because their favorite donut place just got a little more popular.
