Eating Healthier with Sprouts Farmer’s Market

March 26, 2018 by theunmanlychef

*Sponsored post, opinions and thoughts are my own CAUSE I’M NOT A ROBOT PEOPLE, I’M A HUMAN BOY!*

So eating healthy can be a chore sometimes. Listen everybody loves the idea of eating healthy, but when you’re hangry AF and you just worked 12 hours at the office the last thing on your mind is chowing down on some f’n kale alright?! Woah, someone’s a little hangry there. So you can see how it’s really easy to go off the deep end and just mainlining ice cream into your gullet when you’re starved. Luckily grocery stores are starting to realize this and they’re capitalizing on it! HOORAY capitalism! They’re making healthy eating a little easier with lots of pre-cut/made options. Here are 5 ways to make snacking a little healthier and easier via the fine folks at Sprouts.

1- Pre-cut fruit and veggies. Who doesn’t love treating themselves like a 5 year old with pre-cut celery, carrots, pineapple spears, and pomegranate seeds you can literally get just about any veggie pre-cut and paired with some sort of healthyish dip.

2- Rotisserie chicken and or turkey breast, people I say this over and over again but this damn roasted chicken/turkey is so versatile. You can literally do whatever you want, say you’re feeling particularly peckish, who’s stopping you from just crapping the damn leg off that roasted chicken when you get home? I’ll tell you who. Nobody. Chow down. Plus, protein right?

3- NUTS. Sprouts has all the bulk foods. Like literally all of them. Don’t quote me on that. But seriously if you can’t find the trail mix of your dreams at Sprouts I don’t want to be associated with you, because they have so many options you’re probably some picky fiend that can never be satisfied. Woah that took a turn. Let’s be friends? K. Bye.

4- Freezer Meals. Freezer meals are the 3 am drunk dial of the food world, you know you don’t want to do it but damn if it looks good at 3AM. But look not every freezer meal needs to be a family platter of mac and cheese. Every other meal needs to be. Sike. But in all seriousness Sprouts has hella options that are super affordable and good for you. So pick some emergency meal options, keep them in the freezer and you’ll be happy you did.

5- Cheese! Look cheese in moderation isn’t a bad thing, Sprouts has literally any kind of cheese you could want so make yourself a mini cheese plate with some pre-cut veggies and you basically have a meal.
