Slice the baguette in to 1/8 inch thick pieces. Beat your eggs, vanilla extract, and milk together to make a egg batter. Melt half of your stick of butter, add your sugar, brown sugar and flour to make your crumble. At first it'll look like a paste and as it cooks, it'll harden up. Pull it off the heat before it gets too hard, you want the crumble to be crumbly in your hands.
Once your crumble is made, start dipping your bread into the egg batter. Let it soak up the egg batter, the baguette will be crusty so it needs to soak up the batter.
Heat the rest of your butter in a pan, and as it begins to foam up, add your bread and brown both sides.
Once you are all done, sprinkle on some powdered sugar and enjoy!
